Description: This workshop is about designing and executing a successful exit, maximizing valuation and optimizing the terms. The workshop will cover how to run a structured process which generates multiple bidders. It will also highlight how mentors, angel investors and directors can contribute to the exit process.

Overview: The exit is the culmination and most important step in the lifecyle of investee company. Where angels finally secure a return on their hard work and high risk investments. So it must be achieved in a timely fashion, and on the best terms and highest valuation possible.
This module will cover a wide range of tips and techniques, hard-won from the experience of angels and entrepreneurs who have gone before, to ensure a successful exit for angel investments. A systematic approach will be presented in which the exit strategy becomes a key driver in all ongoing business and strategic decision-making, including those which are well before the process itself. The workshop will cover the process from early in consideration, through the prep and go to market stages, and include a discussion of LOIs and how to manage the deal through to closing.
